Spring 2009 SAT Meeting - San Antonio, TX
The Toxicology staff of the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office is pleased to announce that the Spring SAT meeting will be held at the historic Sheraton Gunter Hotel in downtown San Antonio. The meeting will begin on Thursday April 30th with the President's Reception and will conclude on Saturday May 2nd with a Pipetting Workshop that we have tentatively planned. We have also planned a Friday night banquet at the Rio Rio Cantina. We have reserved the third floor of the restaurant which includes a full bar and balcony that overlooks the Riverwalk. The banquet is included in the registration fee.
The room rate at the Sheraton Gunter is $149 for both single and double rooms. The deadline for reserving rooms at this rate is March 31st. It is imperative that our members book rooms early due to a city wide Oncology meeting that coincides with our meeting. Because of this city wide meeting it will be difficult to find rooms at other hotels if the need arises. The Sheraton Gunter has assured us that if we sell out early enough they may be able to provide additional rooms. So please book your rooms as soon as possible.
